Bulletin of Vitebsk State Technological University is scientific and technical journal of Vitebsk State Technological University
In 1995, the University established the bulletin of Vitebsk State Technological University, a scientific journal that publishes articles on three thematic areas:
- Technology of Materials and Products of Textile Industry and Consumer Goods Industry;
- Chemical Technology;
- Economics.
The main objectives of the Bulletin are as follows: to inform regularly the public about the scientific activities of the University; to improve the quality of training of highly qualified specialists and scientific personnel; to disseminate scientific knowledge; to introduce scientific achievements and ideas into the educational process and practical activities.
Open Access Policy: All articles in the Bulletin of Vitebsk State Technological University are published in an open access format, thereby ensuring unrestricted and complimentary access to the complete extant corpus of articles. For more information, see Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
The Editorial Board does not impose any fees to publish articles.
The Editorial Board of the journal comprises prominent scientists from various universities and scientific organisations within the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Germany, and Portugal. The journal extends its gratitude to all authors who publish the results of their scientific research in the Bulletin of Vitebsk State Technological University, as well as to its partner reviewers from other universities and countries.The Journal is published four times a year.
The journal is included in the list of scientific editions of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus for publishing the results of dissertation research, into the information-analytical system Russian Scientific Citation Index, a number of bibliometric databases, including Google Scholar, Erich Plus, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, Open Academic Journals Index (OAJI), Directory of open access journals (DOAJ), CyberLeninka, scientific electronic library, Index Copernicus International (ICI), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI).
The milestone selected by the university staff is directed towards gaining access to other international bibliometric databases. The journal's mission is threefold: firstly, to develop its own scientific directions; secondly, to promote the strengthening of international cooperation; and thirdly, to provide a contribution to the training of researchers of higher qualification at the University. The journal always supports young scientists and provides a foreground opportunity for them to publish the results of scientific research.
